Anna & Danilo

piano & cello duo

Anna Litvinenko and Danilo Mascetti form a dynamic duo that play with as much effervescent energy and virtuosity as they do with alluring grace and nuance. Their shared passion for both modern and early repertoires have led them to explore the vast range of the piano and cello repertoire, from Beethoven, Hummel and Onslow’s works to that of Auerbach, Jolivet and Poulenc. Individually they enjoy their separate careers as solo and chamber musicians, but they are also both fully immersed in 18th and 19th historically informed performance. Though they like to design their programs to fit the specific instruments they perform on, they often play in a classical setting and mix their programs, creating a gripping dialogue between the centuries.

Chekhov Trio

The Chekhov Trio since its very beginning in 2016 has been driven by the idea that chamber music is theatre. At the core of the ensemble lies the endless exploration of characters and roles that music can take. They have performed throughout Belgium and The Netherlands in prestigious halls like Concertgebouw Amsterdam and Bozar Brussels, and have also released their first CD with the label Etcetera Records with works by Henriëtte Bosmans, Ernest Chausson and Frank Martin.
